Inspiration in unexpected places -

New York architect John Locke has transformed payphone booths into communal libraries for communal enjoyment in pop-up locations around the city. Sounds like a good idea to us - when’s the last time you made a payphone call, anyway?

Researchers in London are “rethinking the radiator,” as you can see from the prototype above. They’ve taken the radiator off of the wall and simulated a campfire-esque way of enjoying heat during the cold winter months. Eco-friendly, easy on the eyes, and a new use for an “old” thing. It’s an aesthetically pleasing innovation, sparked by looking at something in a new and different way.

We’re gearing up today for our big launch party tomorrow night for Andy Stefanovich’s new book Look At More.  It’s going to one fantastic night featuring pizza from Pizza Tonight’s traveling wood fire oven, tacos from Nate’s Taco Truck, and of course a dose or two of inspiration.
And we’re thrilled to be part of a LAM dinner party at the Page Bond Gallery tonight.
See you all there!
